Ava Johnson

I'm Ava Johnson, a student at Iowa State University pursuing a double degree in event management with a sports event focus and public relations. I have a passion for sports and aspire to work in the athletics industry following graduation.

I thrive in a team environment where there is a common goal, and I am happy to take on different roles within a group to contribute. I enjoy connecting with others and am able to initiate and sustain interactions with a variety of people. This skill aided me as a director for my sorority, Alpha Gamma Delta, where I worked to foster an inclusive environment.

I strive to find ways to make or suggest improvements. I excel at critical thinking and pattern recognition. Promoting and implementing ideas comes naturally to me, as demonstrated by my position as a social media intern for Cyclone Athletics.
